Doctor Abe attended Sophia (Jochi) University , and graduated from the University of California, at Davis , with a degree in Biological Sciences and a minor in Japanese. He received his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago.

Yoko has completed and successfully passed level one of the Optometric Assistant & Technician Program (OPAT), and has earned the distinction of O.A., Optometric Assistant. OPAT was developed to upgrade the professionalism and competency level of eyecare staff.
Yoko has also passed the Certified Paraoptometric Examination and the Certified Paraoptometric Assistant Examination earning the titles "CPO and CPOA" given by the American Optometric Association.

Asuka was born and raised in Tokyo, has lived in Germany, and then moved to California
in 2001. She attends San Jose State University, majoring in International Business/Marketing.

Tiffany is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin, at Madison, and has a degree in Microbiology. She will continue her education as a second year optometry student in the fall.
